Rodents aren't immune to rabies--it's rare for one to get it because they don't usually survive an attack by the usual animals that carry it (dogs and other canines, skunks, and raccoons). I'd just keep an eye on the injured animal; I don't know if there's a vaccine for rodents who have been possibly exposed, but it wouldn't hurt to look into it.
Did the raccoons get away? If you guys killed them both, you could have their brains tested for rabies, but somehow I get the feeling that didn't happen.
I'm really sorry you had to go through that; if it helps, last night we had a pet-related emergency too. (My mother's cat scratched the hell out his ear and was bleeding more than I've seen an animal do since high school. Fortunately, he'll be okay, but it was really scary.)
