Classes are pretty cool in a I-dread-when-things-get-hectic kind of way. Rebuilding the sentence for effectiveness and clarity for users (usability engineering has never sounded so neat), practicing types of writing for speed and efficiency, and multiple crash courses in designing software with sprinklings of portfolio creation and presentations.

I'm starting to get an idea why this major is in the College of Engineering here. A design project every week? Good grief. I'll be spending hours in lab, especially when we get into tutorial creation...

... On the good side, it doesn't sound like I'll be having any formal exams. Just "quizzes" and tons of reports. Bleh.

heh, I feel your pain. I just spent 8 hours at the faunal analysis lab studying for this morning's "quiz". Regardless of what my professor thinks there is such a thing as spending too much of your "not in class" time analyzing animal bones. By the time I'm done with this course, I'll have enough material to compound a text on "Mammalian Comparative Skeleton Morphology"... which I suppose isn't that bad an idea, considering the fact that NONE exist to help me through this personal hell. Good luck... don't forget sleep. *is a hypocrite*
