Just one more day of classes left for this quarter. I've got a decent grade on one final already, but the other one so far ... ugh. Damn that class. Visual information is the last one--let's hope I can secure my 4.0 there.

Naesala: In one word--Nealuchi.

Sasarai: Sometime between the Cataclysm and the development of crystal extraction technology, it became increasingly rare for people to use runes, so using magic was dangerous. I learned from Geddoe for the short time we traveled together ... then I made things up from the basics.

Albert: Each of them? Hm... Well, Ral is even smarter than me not that that means much anymore and she has admirable academic goals. Aza ... is getting along better with everyone and not trying to overfeed her furfurs anymore. Lucifer is endlessly creative (he's starting to post his photography online now!). Malus is very creative in a different way (he won a city-wide cooking contest recently was there any doubt?). Kaelin wants to be a vet (she even said she would take care of my birds T_T). And Noah is so curious about everything, but otherwise a lot like his Uncle Sasarai. >_>;;

Odessa was too headstrong for her own good. Her idea of patience was ordering the production of hundreds of fire spears before she had the manpower to back it up.

George is a pacifist disguised as a military strategist, even more so than his cousins. I blame focusing all my attention on...

Mathiu, who was both my greatest success and failure. His pacifism and self-loathing were barely tolerable, but he was also undeniably skilled at his craft. Though our paradigms diverged, his blunt and straightforward tactics were effective.

Albert followed my paradigm rather strictly in its theoretical concepts, but his ways of applying them to real-life conditions fell short of even my ethical line. But ... he was not fully to blame for how he ended up.

Caesar reminds me very much of Mathiu both in personality and professional mindset. However, his resolve to become stronger makes him much less prone to falling into the mentality Mathiu suffered from.

Saphir: Jade? Why ever would I have a favorite part of that ingrate? Every time he opens that mouth of his, I have to restrain my lovely self lest I do something that leaves me in a ... dangerous situation. (Jade: My my. Someone thinks too highly of himself.)

Jade: Well. I'm relieved that I don't have to analyze a certain person whose name rhymes with "cyst." It's too early to deal with a distasteful feeling in my mouth. (Saphir: ... ... Jaaaade!!) Now, His Majesty should, of course, be the epitome of all godly imagination as the ruler of the empire. His hands should be broad and large enough to enfold the entire country, and his eyes sharp enough to see every niche of the land. His legs should be long enough to cross the oceans with a single bound, and his feet so large they leave lakes in their wake-- (Peony: And Jade is going to have rappig duty with Gailardia in about five seconds.) ... Ahem. As I was saying, His Majesty's voice alone can soften the hearts of even hardened criminals.

Peony: Hmm... What can I say about my friend? Ah, I know! You wouldn't know it unless you got close enough, but Jade has the cutest toes I have ever seen. (Jade: ..... -_-) You would think a man couldn't have such perfect toes, but seriously--they are terribly, terribly cute. (Jade: ..... -_-;) One of my favorite things to do is have him put his feet up and I just sit there going through the Little Rappigs poem. Hey, Jade, that sounds fun! Let's go do that right now! (Jade: No thank you, Your Majesty, I have important thin-- *gets dragged off* -_-;;;)
