character: Albert Silverberg (26) [ ![]() series: Suikoden III muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ (Easily the strongest and most consistent muse I've had, Albert's long-surpassed my previous strong muses, Rufus Shinra and Ken Ichijouji. His voice remains loud and clear, and headcanon has developed into a multifaceted crystal-like structure. Other Suikoden characters haven't come close to knocking him off of his pedestal of activity.) cast strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ (The only time that Albert really needed a cast to keep my interest was way back in the early days of Luceti, and Miriya was amazing to give me a Caesar to play off of. I doubt Albert would have lasted more than a few slow months in Luceti if not for Caesar. Now he's got several castmates to play off of, both troublesome and helpful.) plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ □ □ (Albert is a character largely driven to do things according to Luceti's plot. He does get his hands into other plots or nudges people to do certain things for him, but he's extremely focused on the overall mystery of Luceti. Minor plots involve getting along with Caesar, keeping Yuber in control, and archiving Luceti.) likelihood of drop: □ □ □ □ □ (The only thing that will lead to Albert being dropped is something utterly catastrophic. Like the game imploding.) |
character: Walter|Delques (19) [ ![]() series: Tales of Legendia muse strength: ■ ■ ■ □ □ (Walter is still very slowly recovering from the long-time CR losses of Ruto and Leon. He's been on the brink of being dropped several times, but he switches off between sulking and yelling angrily whenever I feel miserable and want to pull the plug. Shaking up his living situation by having him live with Shirley had helped keep him afloat.) cast strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ □ (There are very few characters who could make the Legendia cast stronger, from Walter's POV. The addition of Fenimore would give Walter even more reason to be protective. But, as evident by Walter's first few months in Luceti, he can survive quite well without maintaining strong ties with the Legendia cast; he had little reason to communicate with Stella and Senel.) plotting capabilities: ■ □ □ □ □ (Difficult, but doable. He needs to stop seeing Shirley as just the Merines, do more than just tolerate Senel, and make some decent friends. If all else fails, he can get bored enough to take on another construction project. In the house.) likelihood of drop: ■ □ □ □ □ (Unlikely right now, but this likelihood tends to explode when my own mood plummets. If I lament about thinking about dropping Walter? It's likely because I'm in a really, really crappy mood.) |
character: Leon D.S. Geeste (15!?) [ ![]() series: Star Ocean: Blue Sphere muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ □ (Leon's a weird character for me. He springs to life once in awhile, then goes very quiet. He's been consistently awake since I apped him again, and actually kinda antsy to do something productive. It helps that he's made friends.) cast strength: ■ ■ □ □ □ (He has no immediate castmates, but the SO4 cast sorta counts. He's kinda made friends with Lymle now, and they'll likely get in bizarre situations together. Add Faize to the mix and watch things plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ □ □ (I've still got ideas for Leon, so he's okay for now. He could stand to make more friends, and show off his own brand of alchemy and whatnot to Alfons. His major project right now is trying to harness the lightning symbol to make lights and batteries.) likelihood of drop: ■ □ □ □ □ (Currently unlikely, but like I said, he's a weird character for me. He likes to randomly go to sleep on me.) |

character: Minato Arisato (17) [ ![]() series: Persona 3 muse strength: ■ ■ ■ □ □ (He's a pretty average muse for me. I'm not unfamiliar with putting personality into a silent protagonist, but I'm not attuned to Minato like I am to Albert. It takes awhile to really get into his head. Prior to Minato's SC, I would have placed him at ■ ■ because his threads hadn't been very engaging. I was also on the brink of dropping him before I started chatting up one of the new arrivals from the most recent app cycle.) cast strength: ■ ■ □ □ □ (I've got a great Yukari and Junpei, though I don't interact with them much. Fortunately, Damned isn't one of those environments where you revolve your CR around your castmates.) plotting capabilities: ■ ■ □ □ □ (He's technically still new, so he doesn't have a lot of friends. But he gets out and about, and now he's picked up new CR because of his Special Counseling session.) likelihood of drop: ■ ■ □ □ □ (He's fun to play, but he would probably be the first one I drop if I ever need to prioritize my hobbies again.) |
...stupid internet connection, eating my comments
(Kidding!)
But, really, if I can kick Fenimore into action properly, she might be able to help with all of those plot things. Because she no longer sees Shirley as just the Merines (although really with how much she chewed Shirley out over it when she first discovered this I sometimes wonder how much Fenimore ever viewed Shirley as the Merines), she gets along with both Senel and Walter (and really if she were to think about it she'd realize her view of each was approximately the same), and she was going to coach Shirley about making friends in the game (that probably would have been mainly limited to Ferines, but I hope that it will expand to Orerines during Luceti or else she's going to be a pretty quiet character). ...A construction project would probably make Fenimore boggle a little, as he seemed a little too caught up in the whole Merines guarding thing to have another hobby.
Also, a Luceti without Albert would be just wrong.

And yes, I think it'd be pretty weird without Albert. >:
