My thoughts are scattered, so coherence is ... next to nil?
Aziel and I went home for Mother's Day weekend and surprised our parents. Heh heh, that was fun. We ended up sitting around the house for the weekend, which was nice after running around all week trying to finish the poster for the research symposium this Friday. Have a meeting tomorrow to find out more about the symposium and clear up whatever other work we need to do beforehand. But the poster's done now! Whoo!
Mm... Gonna have to tell Danny we can't meet this Friday because of the symposium. Probably have to reschedule for Thursday or something.
Played Atelier Iris and Lumines over the weekend. Ended up playing Atelier Iris for over 11 hours; it's a fun and simple RPG that I don't need to wrap my head around to enjoy. Lumines is as addictive as Tetris... I'll probably have to stay away from it lest I end up spending the whole day on it. I already did that with The Sims 2 last weekend. x_X
I'll probably switch one of my icons for Atelier Iris' Arlin sooner or later. Or maybe Popo... The Mana in the game are amusing.
I've decided I love Nippon Ichi. Disgaia, Phantom Brave, and Atelier Iris (haven't had the pleasure to play LaPucelle Tactics yet) are all awesome games, and I enjoy the fact that you can switch between English and Japanese voices. It's a nice option to have when you're tired of hearing English voice actors that sound ... wooden. At least I can't tell if the Japanese voice actors can't act by their inflections and such.
And now ... this was a lot longer than I originally thought it would be. Guess that's what happens when I get absorbed in video games...
On another note, I'm renewing my interest in the Backstreet Boys again with their new album...
