All fandoms you have ever written in: Gah... Some of these, I'd rather not remember writing for... Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, Sailor Moon, FF4, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10, FFX-2, FF Tactics, FF7: Before Crisis, FF7: Advent Children, Fushigi Yuugi, Castlevania 64 (Legacy of Darkness), Harry Potter (oh so briefly), Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Invader ZIM, Dynasty Warriors, Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice, Suikoden I through V, Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Ragnarok Online (as opposed to the manga and anime), Disney's Aladdin (the animated series), Douglas Niles' The Moonshae Trilogy, Star Ocean 2: The Second Story, Star Ocean 3: Till The End of Time, Mega Man, Tales of Destiny and 2, Tales of Eternia, Breath of Fire III, Phantasy Star IV, Escaflowne
First fandom written in, and when: I guess this would be Ronin Warriors in summer of 1995; I eventually posted some of those stupid things on the internet a year or so later. I was writing RPs as early as early 1994 with Mega Man X, though.
Main fandom: Suikoden, most definitely. Despite attempts to go back to FF7 and wander over into Growlanser, I've been utterly trapped in Suikoden. And I love every moment of it.
Number of words devoted to fic so far: I honestly don't want to hazard a guess. Ronin Warriors alone would be over 400 pages of [crappy] writing.
Favorite piece you have written: Probably ... ... "Emilio Gilchrist." Tales of Destiny will always have a soft spot in my heart because it manages to stay firmly wedged in my mind, and Leon Magnus never bores me.
Least favorite piece you have written: Uh... I can't narrow this down to one. My early Ronin Warriors stories, because Anubis died and came back to life so many times he'd give ... I dunno, soap operas a run for their money. "Nuclear War Games," in which Seiya and Taiki go crazy and somehow manage to blow up the world with a tank and submarine, was also pretty damn bad.
Single piece you'd want to be remembered for if you stopped writing now: Probably "Darkness Bloom," which no one remembers about anymore. :P It was coherent, twisted, and -- IMO -- awesome.
An idea you keep returning to: Resurrection, reincarnation, cloning, and amnesia. I also agree with Mith's "fate biting people in the ass" bit.
Favorite pairing: Hm... I don't like to focus on romance because romance can go so wrong. But... Ken/Miyako (Yolei), Dias/Rena, Gizel/Sialeeds, Yuber/Albert, Nash/Albert (IT JUST WON'T LEAVE MY BRAAAAIN), Albert/Chris (fairly implausible, but it's a guilty pleasure of mine), Luc/Sarah, Edgar/Kika, [FF6] Edgar/Terra, Isaaru/Yuna, Tseng/Elena, Tseng/Rufus, Nakago/Yui
Pairing you'd never write: If I don't have interest in the characters, I won't make the effort it takes to write a plausible pairing.
Favorite genre: It's not a genre, but epics. DAMNABLE EPICS. I can't contain my complex stories to one-shots.
A completed piece you would like to rewrite: "The Insane." It was a great FF crossover, as well as my longest piece.
Work in progress that you just can't get off the ground: Journeymen's Survival. It's been on the ground for TWO YEARS.
And I end with a lovely, lovely quote.
"Those flowers you gave me tasted really good, Albert."
