Doujinshi, doujinshi...
Got more Suikoden III doujinshi yesterday: Siren, Shagadelic Soul, and 本日さよなら日和. Looks like Siren is set in the Lotus world ... or maybe some sort of dream, since it's so surreal. Like teenage Albert talking to another [weaker] version of him and smiling as it is dragged into the water by a sea of hands. Then teen Albert talks to little Caesar, who is splashing around in the lotus water...
Shagadelic Soul's got cracky Destroyers stuff and some young Percival and Borus ... as well as Salome looking disturbingly like Piccolo (DBZ)... Then 本日さよなら日和 ... has Caesar finding a dead dog(?) in a bush and talking to Albert (said conversation ends up upsetting Caesar a lot), and Yuber and Albert talking as Albert bleeds to death in a battlefield.
Awesome. I love not being able to read kanji.

本日さよなら日和 (Honjitsu Sayonara Biyori)
Lotus 01+02 (reprint) -- Caesar and Albert's childhood. The focus is more so on Albert's past and Caesar stumbling upon Albert and his companions (in the present). The series includes their parents, Leon, Apple, and the Destroyers.

THUNDER WORKS -- Part of a trilogy (FIRE WORKS, WATER WORKS, THUNDER WORKS), I think. Notable for a Caesar/Albert scene. ...Yes, in that order.

Rosso Strada -- Includes a scene where Caesar sees a large black trunk being pulled from Albert's carriage and mistakes it for a coffin. He throws himself onto it just as Albert rounds the carriage to stare at him.
SUPER SILVERBERG BROTHERS -- ...Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like. Albert and Caesar dress up in Super Mario 3/World costumes. The brothers are off to save the Princess! Albert (Mario) uses the "unconventional" means of flamethrowers and bazookas to defeat Yuber (Bowser). But who gets the Princess?
And I'm forgetting a few in there, actually. Guess I'll need to shuffle through all of them sometime...
