Over on the KHInsider forums; I just glanced in there after looking at the new scans. Apparently they were debating all over again if Nobodies age because Ienzo looks like he's nine (I don't know where they pulled the age estimate from), or maybe Ienzo waited to lose his heart(???), or maybe he casts an illusion on himself as Zexion to make himself look older?

I don't even know.

Well, Nomura did say that Nobodies don't age in an interview, which is what I think is causing the debates.

Oh, I know. Nomura's not always consistent, though. ...Or maybe I'm thinking of Kojima. One or the other. Maybe both.

In any case, that's one point that had been brought up. And debated on. Likely to death again, considering the debates I'd heard about Namine aging between CoM and KH2.

I think Ienzo just has a growth spurt between the time of BBS and the experiments; he looks around the age of KH1!Sora, IMO, and the angle of the shot is probably what makes him so short. But then, Nomura...retcons. A lot.

Like, whatever happened to Maleficent causing Hollow Bastion to fall? I think that plotpoint's been ignored since KH1. Fff.

I haven't been following the news on BBS very much (just started looks at screens when I noticed Even, Aeleus, and Dilan in a trailer), so I don't know if it's been talked about before. I mean, unless there's information given already, it sounds like people are assuming BBS takes place in a short amount of time. 358/2 took a year. Isn't it possible BBS takes place over several? That would explain [apparent] age differences.

Well, what's known is BBS takes place a year before the experiments supposedly happen-- ten years before the original Kingdom Hearts, in other words.

Oh, so that's actually given information? Like I said, I haven't been following the news.

I dunno. Honestly, there's a lot of crap that needs to happen for the apprentices to turn into their Nobodies. Ienzo isn't even the most dramatic change. Maybe Braig and Ienzo's experiments with darkness made them age, which is why they can be so "buddy-buddy" in that one extra scene. *terrible and should not be speculating*
