At my parents' home for the weekend. Spent yesterday driving around the navy base while my older brother played photographer and looked for bald eagles. He got some cool shots.
Bought a new laptop last week, right before my paycheck hit. It's a Compaq Presario with AMD, and it triggered this whole discussion about AMD versus Dual Core blah blah blah. I'm just happy to have a laptop without broken hinges. It also has Vista on it, and I greatly dislike the changes made to the UI. The drastic changes are horribly distracting, and difficult to get used to.
Currently debating actually naming it. I've never named any of my devices before, so why now? Only answer so far: Eh, why not?
Finally got to Gavada on ToW. I've been spending too much time in the EX maps. Dueled against Reid, Lloyd, and Chester and Arche so far. Will try Leon or Lloyd and Genis next.
Summer quarter ends next Friday. Need to sit down and start writing stuff. Bleh. Also need to make sure my manager submits a confirmation for my hours worked.
Writing sucks more than ever. Only way I've been able to write "quickly" in the last few months is when I've been RPing. Fanfiction is like some huge, insurmountable enemy that taunts me at every turn. Ick.
