Moving and adjusting to new schedules

I can just feel it. This week is going to suck.

We spent this past weekend helping my older brother move out of his old apartment back up to our apartment. But since he was living in a one bedroom for almost a year, he'd accumulated a lot of stuff that won't fit comfortably in our cramped-for-three-bedrooms apartment.

So we're moving.

We spent today checking out an apartment community between the university and my workplace. Fifteen minutes in either direction through rush hour on a good day. All of this was done so quickly that I put down the security deposit today. And we're handing in the applicant paperwork tomorrow. We're hoping to be packed up by Friday so we can move in on Saturday. And then I need to go home (that is, my parents' home two hours away) for a dental appointment on Monday. And then come back for work on Tuesday.

On top of all of this, I need to adjust to the new bus schedules that started this week. The tunnels downtown were finally reopened, so I was a bit excited over the prospect of looking around down there. But I'm also a bit nervous because it's still downtown and everything (and I really try not to pay attention to homeless guys wandering/sleeping around in the mornings).

This is gonna be rough.

Meh, I have issues against studies like that. "Ladies, ditch the high-pitched guys cause if you want babies they ain't worth it~" Yah. Lovely society we live in. ._.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. It's indicating that there's been a trend of men with low-pitched voices being more successful in passing on their genetics because women are more attracted to them. It's got nothing to do with guys with high-pitched voices not being "worth it."

hmm, well, as long as you don't have to travel too far for the move, you don't have to pack things up too compactly... right? XD;
