KH: 358/2 Days - vague characterization spoilers

So I got the new KH the day it came out. (Actually, my brother bought it for me because he owes me a lot of money.) I'm on day 150 or so now, just cleared a recon mission with Xaldin. (Hope that's not too much of a spoiler?)

It's pretty good for a mission-based game. I do get tired of returning to the Grey Area, but at least the Organization members change it up every few days. I'm amused that Demyx is notably different from how fandom has perceived him, and Xigbar throws out nicknames a lot. Still waiting to hear more on Luxord. His early comment about missing half the poker league just... I can imagine them sitting down and trying to play poker. Luxord would always play dealer just so he could say, "And the win goes to the house. Again."

Won't say anything about the main trio, except for the fact that Roxas is such a :|-faced derp. Hilarious.

I've been clearing Mission Mode by myself, and I'm noticing just how much harder it is without Organization backup. I don't want to tackle the later Agrabah missions by myself, since if there's one thing Demyx did right, it was spam potions whenever he was dying (and that happened a lot).

Demyx's Casual Gear gag weapon is a giant tennis racket. The name of it? 'Prince of Awesome.' PFFF ahahaha. XD

The Mystery Gear weapons are pretty funny, too. Gears that draw upon the personalities of the user? And Zexion's is a book entitled Dear Diary? And Xigbar's is a trumpet? ...Actually, I think Saix's Bunnymoon and Vexen's Snowman amuse me the most. Most of the others have pretty serious weapons, and then... Pfft.

So it is pretty good? I've been contemplating getting it myself, but... Luxord's kinda the only Organization member I like, fff.

Yeah, I'd say it's pretty good. There's a ton of missions to do, and there is a story behind it all... The game actually makes me kinda like Axel, which I wasn't expecting at all after Chain of Memories and KH2.

Luxord's hard to play in multiplayer mode, though. His moveset is pretty stationary, but he hits multiple times.

What's different between fandom Demyx and him here? KH's one of those series that I've played but I don't really get how people get characterizations from, since I've never really sat down and analyzed it.

From KH2, a lot of fans perceived Demyx as a coward because he runs away from situations and whatnot. In this game, Demyx states plainly that he's very, very lazy. It's to the point where other Organization members kinda pause when talking about him and say, "I'm pretty sure he does something around here, but I'm not sure what." :|; He also seems to have a lot of wild ideas, but not enough motivation to carry them out.

He's also scared of Larxene, but that's not surprising at all.

No, that's not really surprising. Larxene came across as a very scary lady.

Days is pretty neat for the extra characterization it gives the KH2 Org members. I think you'll enjoy Luxord; he's pretty entertaining, though I won't spoil the fun.

Also, ff, Demyx. LOVE his "stupid...and AWESOME" line.

It's not on sale yet in this country and that makes me impatient.
