Tiiired...

Just bought the three Mario & Luigi games on a whim. It started as frustration over not being able to find a working Superstar Saga rom for hours last night, and then not being able to get past the level up screen... And now I've got Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, and Bowser's Inside Story coming in next week.

It's kinda dangerous, buying video games on a whim. :|;;

I finished a new drabble for my Silverberg storyline, but I'm not happy with how clunky the action writing is. I can do one-on-one fights, but multiple attackers versus one is awkward. I kinda just want it finished so I have the setting in place; I intend to use the Grasslands for at least three other drabbles, though I only have vague plot ideas right now. Gotta get Caesar and Hugo's reunion in there somehow.

So Leon's now got two castmates. He'll be excited, but I also imagine he'll be a little grumpy that he has to rearrange his lab to make room for them. But now I'm presuming they'll all room together. :|; He made some talk with Link about going into the mountains, and now having Claude and Ashton around will give him a little more confidence to go out there. What he'll find in the old base ruins, though... Uh. We'll see. I think Lymle disappearing will be the most significant disappearance for him since Ahiru; he'll probably be down when he realizes he can't introduce her to his friends.

Walter is not getting out there enough. He's been sick, but I reeeeally need to get him more active. It's difficult because he doesn't like to talk or get out there, especially since it's winter. Come spring time? He'll be outside and doing things again. Maybe he can work on something for the house for Fenimore and Shirley? He's probably a little claustrophobic after being indoors for so long.

Albert... Hahahaha. :| He's "withdrawing" more, which is weird for him in that he stays out of his house instead of becoming more of a shut-in. (He's got his reasons.) He knows very well that he's walking the thin line of helping out the other people against Yuber and screwing himself over by getting 'his summon' killed. The recent arrivals from people of his time period, plus Yuber's killing of Vash so soon after their arrival, threatens his ability to convince the new arrivals that he isn't a threat. (More so Lilly than Nash, since Lilly's a whiny, stubborn brat. At least Nash thinks in gray areas and benefits.) Aaand a lucetilocked post will be coming around sometime soon.

And I'll end with a meme I ganked. :|b

Reply to this post, and I'll tell you one reason why I like you. Then put this in your own journal, and spread the love.

I know well the dangers of impulse videogame buying. It's how I have 10 DS games I've yet to play. Somehow. (I maintain they were worthwhile purchases.)

And Nash isn't planning on telling anyone much of anything. It's not really in his interest to turn everyone against Albert. Lilly, though...

They can sit together on a shelf and look appealing! Don't you know that video games make great bookshelf decorations?

Yeah, I hear you there. Albert kinda has trust in Nash in that regard, but his conversation with Nami's given him reason to be suspicious of a few particular people. Unfortunately, Nash's boss would be one of them. :|;

For the meme: We haven't known each other long, but I love your Nash and his witty humor. By extension, I think you are quite witty, and your humor really jives with my own.

Mine are actually in a box. A STYLISH BOX, but a box all the same.

But Nash is the worst spy ever, in that he'll totally just disregard his orders if he feels like it. WHY EVER WOULD SASARAI HAVE ISSUES WITH ALBERT??

It's a lot of fun to play Nash of Albert. Their senses of humor contrast quite nicely, and he can drop a bit of his mask.

Is it a BIG box, at least? A big, stylish, eye-catching box?

That must be why Dominguez flies off with Nash's money. He knows. And hey hey, it's not really Albert's fault! It's Luc's! He even bitchslapped Nash with his magic!

It's funny how two of the most secretive characters in the game can just drink and chat so casually. Makes you wonder how they traded information during the war.

Actually I have several boxes. They come from IKEA. Land of ice and snow.

Sure, go blaming the other Destroyers. I mean, it's not like Albert was technically under Harmonia's employ the whole time, oh wait. But I imagine when/if Albert bitchslaps, it is not with magic, though skillset implies that he still taught Luc some things about how to use a wind rune.

Yes, how did they exchange information during the war? So secretive, even the game could not show us.

Oh yes, IKEA. We have a lot of IKEA furniture.

I maintain that Albert's intentions are so unknown that we have no idea what the reasoning behind it all really is. I mean, just look at the manga! ...Albert's skillset is hilarious. "Oh, Sarah, you've bought a new rune? Let me teach you how to use it!"

Clearly, they used telepathy.

Is his less-than-full rank symbolic of his no doubt condescending teaching style??

I think I'm going to have to set up a psychic permissions post.
