The beginning of finals week--without any finals
Finished Suikoden I again last night. The hydra was a pushover with Luc in the party with a Cyclone Rune. I didn't even have to use the Flowing and Thunder Runes I put on Viktor and Flik. Named the hero Mitir to get past the stupid import glitch on Suikoden II.
So I'm gonna try Trickster because it keeps popping up in my friends list. I haven't touched MMOs since RO, so it should be interesting. Furry, but interesting.
... Sigh. My hard drive is infected with something and I don't know how I can fix it. I've tried Stinger, Panda Antivirus, McAfee, and even Symantec and I still can't get it out. I really don't want to reformat my hard drive, since that requires me to backup everything onto my external HD and that takes forever. Bleh.

If you ever wanna hang out or if you need help, just AIM me or find me in-game. I'm usually on the Ruby server, because less people=less lag (for the most part). I'm usually on as Myfanwy (how original).

Thanks for the offer. ^^ I imagine you're pretty high-leveled now. What classes do you prefer?

Well, I'm not that high-levelled (several people I've met on there keep nagging me about being so low-levelled :|), but I have learned a lot. Be wary of mages, because as fun as they are, they end up VERY expensive. My other two characters work well without a lot of money, so most of the money they make goes to my sheep to pay for potions.
TM- the experience you need to level up your skills- is especially hard to come by as a magic user. And you rely heavily on your magic, because the weapons which give you additional Magic Attack points have NO ATTACK POWER attached to them, generally speaking. This is partly why they're so expensive.
I see you are playing a dragon, so... hm, my advice would be to keep investing all your level up bonus points into MA. Mix it up every now and then, but don't do it often. Mana Ring and Magic Arrow are good to level up. I prefer arrow to ring, as you can get Arrow Rush later... I got it too late, though, so for the level I'm at, it's especially low-levelled. Just watch out for that, because as I said, it's really difficult to get TM later on.
Ahem. I have no real preference otherwise. I like drilling, so my Lion is a favourite. I also like hitting things and not getting hit much back, so my Cat is good for that, having high evasion and defense. If I were to take anything else, I would take a Buffalo. I like their character design, but again, more hitting things and mad HP.

Mages always seem to be the same way in all the games--that is, they're potion-spammers. I was planning on getting a fighter and/or engineer to support the shaman, but I also like the teacher's design. Arrrgh...
Thanks for the tips. I think I'll finish going through the tutorial, since I got bored halfway through last time. *coughs*

But yeah, unfortunately... the mages get a few techniques that has their magic refilling faster, but when you've got 2500MP and you refill at 16 per three seconds, and you're using up 150-300 for each spell... it doesn't add up too well.
My favourite is the sheep, though. SO CUTE. Second job class, EVEN CUTER.
And third job class. Oh, third, as of yet unavailable job class.
SO SO SO CUTE.
*cough* :|
The tutorial isn't that bad, though I tend to skip it completely now.

and yeah, that glitch was weird in suikoden ii. i hadn't known about it the first time i played through, so i think mcdohl ended up being called wcdohl or something equally strange. XP
