Sorry to everyone who asked questions in my last entry; since my internet time's been so sparse, I find my replying habits to be completely shot. Argh.

I'm in Iloilo City now, in a hotel called the Sarabia Manor. It's the closest to an American hotel that I've been in since arriving in the Philippines, but still very ... sparse. The lobby seems to be the nicest place -- which is where the WiFi is, so I'm downstairs and using it right now.

It rains in the Philippines a lot more than I thought it did. Or maybe we're just visiting at the wrong time. But it's been nice (and terribly humid, to a Pacific Northwest-born Filipino), even if it's hard to enjoy when my sister and I are just getting dragged around by our parents. Oh, and Leo, we were in Conception because we had relatives in Agnaga over there. We also went through my mom's hometown of Sara.

Sitting in a van, driving around an island from Caticlan to Agnaga to Iloilo City for nine hours, has led to some weeeeird ideas. I blame listening to Digimon music for several hours.

Registered Digimon license holders (who, depending on their relation with their Digimon, refer to themselves as owners or partners) can upgrade their registration by obtaining Digimentals (and switching to a D-3 Digivice) or switching to a Tamer Digivice.

Novice -- Registered Digimon, regular Digivice, owned less than 5 years
Natural -- Registered Digimon, regular Digivice, owned more than 5 years
Mentalist -- Registered Digimon, D-3 Digivice, at least 1 Digimental
Tamer -- Registered Digimon, Tamer Digivice, attribute-boosting cards available
Synthetic Diver (S.D.) "Esder" -- Crusand experimental process that gives Orerines "Digimon-like" attributes
Wild One -- Unregistered Digimon (usually stolen), regular Digivice
Wild One (Ferines-born) -- Unregistered Digimon, no Digivice

also bb you came at possibly one of the worst possible times LOL;;; might want to keep track of the weather somehow, because it's typhoon season and Iloilo is, if not directly in the storm path, at least part of the region that seems to get a lot of the excess water. XDDD don't get caught in a storm, we've been getting them a lot later.

I remember being so into it, and I still love it. Now you make me want to bring in a character from that. :\ Maybe Moses since Gabumon is my all time favorite Digimon.
