Tiiired...

Just bought the three Mario & Luigi games on a whim. It started as frustration over not being able to find a working Superstar Saga rom for hours last night, and then not being able to get past the level up screen... And now I've got Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, and Bowser's Inside Story coming in next week.

It's kinda dangerous, buying video games on a whim. :|;;

I finished a new drabble for my Silverberg storyline, but I'm not happy with how clunky the action writing is. I can do one-on-one fights, but multiple attackers versus one is awkward. I kinda just want it finished so I have the setting in place; I intend to use the Grasslands for at least three other drabbles, though I only have vague plot ideas right now. Gotta get Caesar and Hugo's reunion in there somehow.

So Leon's now got two castmates. He'll be excited, but I also imagine he'll be a little grumpy that he has to rearrange his lab to make room for them. But now I'm presuming they'll all room together. :|; He made some talk with Link about going into the mountains, and now having Claude and Ashton around will give him a little more confidence to go out there. What he'll find in the old base ruins, though... Uh. We'll see. I think Lymle disappearing will be the most significant disappearance for him since Ahiru; he'll probably be down when he realizes he can't introduce her to his friends.

Walter is not getting out there enough. He's been sick, but I reeeeally need to get him more active. It's difficult because he doesn't like to talk or get out there, especially since it's winter. Come spring time? He'll be outside and doing things again. Maybe he can work on something for the house for Fenimore and Shirley? He's probably a little claustrophobic after being indoors for so long.

Albert... Hahahaha. :| He's "withdrawing" more, which is weird for him in that he stays out of his house instead of becoming more of a shut-in. (He's got his reasons.) He knows very well that he's walking the thin line of helping out the other people against Yuber and screwing himself over by getting 'his summon' killed. The recent arrivals from people of his time period, plus Yuber's killing of Vash so soon after their arrival, threatens his ability to convince the new arrivals that he isn't a threat. (More so Lilly than Nash, since Lilly's a whiny, stubborn brat. At least Nash thinks in gray areas and benefits.) Aaand a lucetilocked post will be coming around sometime soon.

And I'll end with a meme I ganked. :|b

Reply to this post, and I'll tell you one reason why I like you. Then put this in your own journal, and spread the love.

The very idea of throwing Fenimore at one of Luceti's psychopaths gave me the horrible mental image of Fenimore doing that on a regular basis and giving Walter a freaking aneurysm in the process. In cases like that, it'd be safer to lock the victim up and let the psychopath run free!

Well, it's a little subtle, but Albert's aware that the more time he spends cooped up in the house with Raine, the more likely it is that their conversations will lead to the topic of his world and certain people there. So he wants to avoid those talks. He's also being a little more visible so he can have some meetings completely off the journals. ...That probably wouldn't be as significant if he didn't have those hermit-like tendencies.

Hahaha, they do seem to have boomerang-like qualities for people who interact with them. That doesn't seem fair, but it has a certain logic to it. Still, luckily for Walter, I plan to avoid letting the completely defenceless run into the psychopaths where I can reasonably expect to do so.

Poor Albert. I can definitely see where those conversations could end up being...uncomfortable.

I immediately thought of Nami when you mentioned boomerang-like qualities. She's just had the Worst Day Ever, the poor girl.

It's not as if he cares much about what Raine will think. It's more the fact that she'll have the knowledge which irks him.

For the meme: I've always admired the way you can write essays and analyze the characters you play. It's really intriguing to read how you rationalize your characters' development, and it also gives insight into how much thought goes into your characters' decisions. I really enjoy seeing these aspects.

Is it really any different from any other day in the Luceti life of Nami? The girl really has a streak of bad luck as long as the barrier's circumferance.

Just having the knowledge or what she might do once she has it?

♥ ...Too bad I haven't gotten around to those lately.
