Went to the Cheesecake Factory with Aziel and his friends for his 21st birthday today. A four-hour excursion, complete with bus-riding and "strolling" through downtown. Whoo.
I couldn't help but stare at the prices for food in there. My strawberry lemonade was $3.25 in there, and the platter I got was over $17. Add to that the price of cheesecake, plus tax, and my meal came to over $33. x_x That was just my meal.
But the place was really nice, anyway. Fancy setting, full bar, separate lounge for those older than 21... I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since it was in the middle of downtown Seattle, among the likes of Sephora and the Nordstrom corporate offices and everything. x_x Not to mention the monorail.
It was nice to get out and see the city at night. I liked the almost-empty streets and the dark night, although it's definitely dangerous and all.
NO MORE CHEM LABS!! YAY!!
Side note: "I just got a waaaalnut~!" *splat*
We saw roadkill as we were walking towards the bus stop to head downtown. I've never been so close to roadkill before. Especially squirrel roadkill. Poor thing. As Daniel pointed out, its paws were in a clutching position and a nut was near its body. Aww...
