Since people are talking about dreams...
May. 2nd, 2010 07:15 pmSo, I had an ... interesting dream two nights ago. This is worth writing about because I don't dream often, and they don't really remain vivid for that long after I wake up.
You know that old story about shoes that would make a person dance forever if they were worn?
...Okay, it doesn't matter if you know it or not. The point is that an inanimate object was doing something it had no business doing.
In this case, it was jumprope handles. Yes, jumprope handles. This is bizarre in that I never use the jumprope that I have.
And in my dream, they vibrated.
Vibrating jumprope handles. I kid you not.
So, in my dream, I get out of bed to inspect this weird phenomenon. They don't stop vibrating, so they just kinda ... skitter across the carpeted floor. I end up shrugging and going back to look at my laptop.
On my laptop screen, the word processor program had been opened up with an odd message on it.
"Coming a Simmer."
And then I woke up.
