Whoops.

I have really got to check my schedule more carefully.

I thought I was going to be late for math quiz section this morning, so I hurried to class and went in at exactly 10 AM. I walked across the room and sat down ... only to find out that I had walked in on the wrong quiz section. -.-;; Stupid me. I sat there and looked at my schedule, and noticed that it said 10:30 AM on it. *sighs*

Yeah, I'm stupid like that. I ended up sitting through that section and then my own quiz section. Blah.

So, after that whole thing, I went and turned in my papers for my new research job (Woo hoo!). I grabbed some fries and a shake to eat while I trekked over to the student fiscal services area, then paid for autumn tuition. And then I headed over to the physics building to wait for tutorials.

And that's where I made another little mistake. ^^;

I'm eating my fries and listening to my CD player, and this crow catches my attention. Said crow is picking through the fallen leaves and tossing them aside, scrounging around for food. So, after watching the entertaining little guy for a few minutes, I take out a bit of a french fry and toss it out to him.

The crow takes one look at my offering and hops out to get it. Being cautious and clever as most crows are, this particular crow hopped back a few feet to the pile of leaves and puts the french fry down, settling a few leaves on top of it. I'm amused by this, so I toss him another bit of fry to see what he'll do with it. He takes it into his beak, and then eats it.

I thought that would be all to it, but no more than two minutes later, the crow made a sound that sounded suspiciously like a cough. I take off my earphones to listen, and the crow makes three more of those cough-like sounds.

Let's just say that "Oh shit" was my mental reaction to that.

But I never did get to see what happened to the crow; it flew off after another crow a few minutes later.

I hope I didn't kill it. :S
