I had fun Friday! Wow, I can’t believe how long just shopping and going out to eat took. @_@
Aziel invited me to go with him and Karine and do something. Didn’t know at the time that it was going to include shopping, but hey, it ended up being okay. We went to Bellevue Square and all of its semi-ritzy glam and décor to buy Christmas gifts, and we ended up staying there for three hours. X_x Three hours, and I didn’t even manage to get anything.
Well, all right, I admit that shopping isn’t my strong point, but that’s still pretty ridiculous.
After that, I realized that the whole outing was supposed to lead up to a big dinner with his friends from Electrical Engineering. At the time, I was really apprehensive, since I don’t know any of his EE friends and I’m very quiet around other people, but the majority of the people there were girls. And nice, funny girls, for that matter.
I’m still amused that a lot of them were Chinese, but it’s possible they were more Karine’s friends than Aziel’s. I’ll have to ask him. :P
We stayed there at this Japanese buffet restaurant (called Todai; go find one and try it out!) for two hours. *laughs* I made a comment at the end of the meal that it was the longest dinner I’d ever had, and one of the girls, named Anna, said, “Welcome to the EE Club!”
Aziel, your friends have shattered my every stereotype of engineers. Sure, your EE jokes are nerdy to the max, but you guys still know how to have fun. ^^

I spent the majority of Saturday morning in Aziel's apartment -- namely, the common room. :P I watched The Untouchables and Desperado while waiting for my family to come to pick me up. We went shopping (again), and I finally got Aziel a Christmas gift. :| Thanks for the suggestions, Karine. I got myself a Bon card, so now I guess I can -- *gasp* -- shop.
We ate yummy Mexican food. Mmm... I love Spanish rice and refried beans. (No, that's not sarcasm.)
Am currently watching "The One Ring To Rule Them All 3." It's funny.
