Been on RO a lot lately. It's fun being in a guild and knowing the people you're partying with -- I haven't had this much fun since my brother and I ran around on a private server together a few years ago. Aki still teases the hell outta me, and now even Kou is getting into my proclaimed poring fetish.

I am NOT a poringsexual. *mutters* Is it my fault that Aki decides to feed Chicken when I'm in the general vicinity of her face? Is it my fault that Walnut is a strangely affectionate poring? ... Okay, it might be my fault that I'm encouraging it some...

But still. *sweatdrops*

In other news, I've [again] volunteered to take a lead in my research group -- this time to write the abstract for the Annual Research Symposium project this May. I've got a month to write, revise, take suggestions, and all that jazz, but it's still something to think about.

I've got my Poli Sci and Philosophy midterms next week. Poli Sci is a take-home essay, while Phil is an in-class essay. I'm more concerned about leading my quiz section discussion next Friday; I'm not familiar with the political processes of North and South Korea after the Korean War yet, so I need to do some note-taking and studying on that subject. Philosophy should be interesting, but I'm not too worried; I feel very confident with all the material except for Weak Anthropocentrism, which we just covered in class today.

Danny and I were talking about the different types of philosophy we're taking. He's apparently reading Hobbes and Machiavelli for a Poli Sci class, and it's neat to listen to his counterpoints to the prof's opinions. He told me he was going for Biochem before turning to Poli Sci; I feel some kinship there, as I was into Chemistry early on. :P

Hmm... Oh, I have to write about JSA -- Joint Security Area. It's a Korean movie about four border patrol soldiers that end up becoming friends, and how their patriotism for the entirety of the republic keeps them from defecting to one another's sides. Quite an interesting movie; I hope I don't forget about it in the future, because it was poignant and depressing.

Whoo. Covered a lot of different topics there. Okay, I think I'm done. *laughs*
