Video game maniac...
Jan. 10th, 2006 12:40 amSo... I haven't been keeping this updated with what I've been doing game-wise.
Shortly after finishing Suikoden Tactics, I dug up my old Kingdom Hearts save in Atlantica and, with the help of an FAQ, found out where the heck I was supposed to go. Beat that thing, like, yesterday, and now I'm trying to balance ... oh, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Wild Arms: Alter Code F, and Kingdom Hearts II at the same time.
I think I'll kick Kingdom Hearts II out and concentrate on the other two; I've been getting by only because of the numbers, button icons, and a very, very limited understanding of Japanese. Japanese voices are pretty cool, though. Except Goofy. Oh gods, Goofy, what happened? T_T And Donald's Japanese voice makes me laugh. Listening to Japanese Riku, I have to say David Gallagher wasn't a bad choice as a voice actor.
No spoilers, of course. Chase me down if you want squeeing. Chicken-yarou. *snerk*
KH: CoM is ... interesting. I don't have the luxury of playing it on a Gameboy because my brother won't get the friggin' game back from his ex-girlfriend (who has had it for, what, eight months now? *sighs*), so I'm trying to play it on an emulator. And that's not going well. At all. Major slowdown. ~_~ I'm tempted to go find out if it's possible to rip it to my PSP. Maybe that'll help.
Wild Arms: Alter Code F is great, as far as remakes go. My brother and I were excited to see what they would do with the opening movie (with the awesome whistled theme), and were disappointed to see it was (apparently) taken out. Imagine my glee to hear the familiar song after finishing the triple prologue. *grins*
I'm gonna be sad once the schoolwork starts getting more difficult. I can kiss all this lovely video game time goodbye.
