Things I've done since coming home...
Jun. 17th, 2005 10:59 pmWednesday (8th): Began packing for moving out of the dorms and back home. Was overwhelmed by amount of stuff that had to be packed.
Thursday (9th): Said goodbye to Kathryn in the morning, then went on a date with Danny for the rest of the day. We went to eat lunch at Thai 65 and watch Star Wars Episode III, then we ended up hanging out until about 7 PM. Packed some more before going to sleep after midnight.
Friday (10th): Continued getting packed, then went down to the IMA to get my gym clothes. Saw Chris down there and we talked a little before I headed back up to the dorms. Took care of Alyssa while parents and Avram were attending Aziel's departmental graduation. We went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory afterwards.
Saturday (11th): Woke up at a ridiculous hour after going to sleep after midnight to continue packing. Got out of the dorms a little after 9 AM and went home with family. Relaxed and did a little light unpacking after getting home.
Sunday (12th): Went walking around Ebey's Landing and Deception Pass with family. Got to use my camcorder a little bit, so that was fun. I'm constantly reminded of how nice it is to live on an island.
Monday (13th): I've honestly forgotten what happened on this day. Probably just played RO and watched Friends with Avram.
Tuesday (14th): Aziel came back from the university early in the morning. Went to Alyssa's talent show with my mom and watched it through. Hmm... I think that was the highlight of the day.
Wednesday (15th): Mm... Didn't do very much this day. Lazed around, played with the guinea pigs, helped cook, played RO, and then went out to dinner at Kyoto. Twas nice; they had a small seaweed salad that was really good.
Thursday (16th): Played more RO, helped cook, went shopping with Alyssa and my mom, and then watched my mom give the guinea pigs a bath. Nothing much.
Friday (today): Went back to Seattle with Aziel, Avram, and Alyssa. We picked up Karine and went out to dim sum. Alyssa was really finicky since she doesn't like seafood, and basically everything had shrimp in it (well ... except for the chicken feet). Went iceskating for the first time. I was proud of myself for not falling over the entire time. Besides the fact that it was cold and the ice was incredibly scarred and scuffed, it was similar to rollerblading.
After iceskating, we went to Bellevue Square to kill some time before going out for dinner. Spoke to my boss over the phone and talked about times to meet next week and what types of things I might be doing over the summer. She commented that I might get the chance to do some projects of my own with the data we've collected, and I'm intrigued by the idea. Hope something comes out of that.
Aziel and Karine picked up some Wendy's for Alyssa before we sat down at Sushiland to eat. Avram, having never been there before, seemed to enjoy himself grabbing things off the conveyer belt and spreading wasabi on the ika and makimono. After dinner, we dropped off Karine and went to Target. Bought a Martina McBride CD so I could have CD quality copies of "Concrete Angel" and "Independence Day."
Definitely a nice week.
