Father's Day weekend
Jun. 16th, 2007 08:48 pmThank you to everyone who congratulated me. ♥ I greatly appreciate it.
So I started work on Wednesday, and it was pretty overwhelming, meeting so many different people. I know the chain-of-command up to the floor manager and the people in my immediate team, so I'm hoping that gets me by for awhile. I started writing and submitting stuff for the SMEs' approval the second day in, and it was pretty thrilling to know that I'm already generating content for the company. Starting Monday I begin a week-long editing job on FrameMaker. I'm loving it, even if I do start getting antsy during that last hour of the work day.
It's tough adjusting from sleeping really late to getting to bed early enough to wake up around 6 AM, though. I'm hoping my body gets used to it soon so I can stop coming home simply to collapse and fall asleep. I feel like I'm wasting away the few hours I'm not commuting, working, or sleeping through the night.
Spending Father's Day weekend at home with the family. My older brother's coming in late tonight, so we might play Call of Duty 3. I want to be online more, but there's a lot going on right now. Bleh...
