One great movie
Jul. 28th, 2005 11:24 pmJust got finished watching the Japanese movie Casshern, which my brother borrowed from our cousin. The movie threw so many curveballs it was a little hard to understand everything, and the flashbacks throughout the movie made it confusing. But ... the ending. Damn, I haven't had such a good cry in a loooong time. It was depressing, powerful, and captured the utter grayness of war -- with religious undertones to explain the supernatural death/rebirth stuff, of course.
Very awesome movie. I recommend it over just about any other movie I've watched lately.
Of course, I'm saying this from the perspective of mainly storyline. =P
( Spoilers for the movie )
